Scriptural Ground

Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured (Colossians 4:12 NIV).

Prayer of Approach

Faithful God, your presence seeks me out that I may spend time with you. You want to share with me your plans. You want me to partner with you in all that is necessary for the realization of what you have purposed. You inspire me to pray. You place before me that which needs to be done. You guide me into the paths of prayer that will lead to the fulfilment of your will. You want me to wait upon you. You want me to receive your revelation of how to proceed as I approach your throne. You transform my outlook on what is before me. You unite me with your purposes. How blessed is your wonderful Name! You are surely to be praised for your steadfast love, your enduring mercy, your divine faithfulness.

Receive my prayer through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Moment With God

How wonderful it is to devote time to being with God! His Name is surely glorified in our lives when we bring Him into our daily activities as we pray. There is much that is able to be accomplished through entry into the atmosphere of prayer. Under such conditions we can become aware of those matters that could benefit from our prayerful intervention. Such perception into the mind of God offers the possibility of meaningful prayer intervention in connection with situations that must rely upon action arising in the eternal purposes of God for their appropriate resolution.
