Scriptural Ground

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone (Colossians 4:6 NIV).

Prayer of Approach

Compassionate God, who is at work to establish your will in my life, draw me into a deeper communion with you. Put to flight every voice that is seeking to distract me from hearing what you desire to say to me in this moment of turning to your divine presence. Direct my footsteps along the path that leads to life that is life eternal. Put before me that which is able to set me free to share with others your work in my life that they may be drawn to you. Guide me in developing the strength that is necessary to receive your leading in my life so that I may pursue the objectives that you have for me.

Receive this prayer, presented before you in the Name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

A Moment With God

How do you invest your time? Is it in introducing persons to encounter with Jesus Christ? What are the topics that interest you? Do you bring into your conversations references to your encounters with the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? What is of greatest importance to you as you get to know persons who are brought across your path? Do you see in their needs the opportunity to offer the intervention of Jesus as an appropriate response?

In our interaction with others, the Saviour is continually seeking to offer His intervention in their lives. Our own experience of receiving the help that Jesus offers is very often the most valuable contribution that we can make to our communication with others.
