Scriptural Ground

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 NIV).

Prayer of Approach

Sovereign Lord, it is your presence that guides me day by day. You go before me to bring to pass all that you intend. You are my Shield. Your work in my life raises up barriers that will prevent me from being led astray. You are my Director. You work all things together for good in my life. You are always opening opportunities for me to serve you more effectively as I go along the journey of faith. You are my Friend. You faithfully fulfill the promises that bring me renewed strength to be more open to your influence in my life. You establish my relationship with you.

Open your hand to order the moments of my life.

Receive my prayer with joyful praise as I offer it in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

A Moment With God

The relationship into which Christ calls us with Himself provides us with the opportunity to benefit from the vast resources to be found in Him. Every effort must be made to discover the approaches that are necessary for the Christian believer to gain access to all that is available in Christ Jesus. As we do so we shall be making ourselves more aware of how we can overcome the hurdles presented to us in the course of daily living. Depending on what Christ has to offer in the midst of circumstances that make it difficult to advance along the journey of life opens the door through which the way out can be set before us.

About the Lord

The Bible teaches that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 NIV). It is also written that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 NIV). Do you know that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16 NIV)? It is also written: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 NIV). Jesus said: "I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in" (Revelation 3:20 NIV). Dear friend, what is happening in your life? Are you experiencing the effects of sin, the evidence of death? Jesus died on the cross, bearing your sins so that you would not perish in death. Do hear His invitation to open your being and your life to Him that you may not continue to perish. Say this prayer that you may receive God's gift of eternal life right now: Lord Jesus, there is the presence of sin and the evidence of death in my life. Thank you for bearing my sins on the Cross. I need the gift of eternal life. In your Name, Lord Jesus, I do now open every door of my being and of my life to you. Come in and let me experience all that eternal life is meant to be for me. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Amen.
