Scriptural Ground

They were all filled with awe and praised God. “A great prophet has appeared among us,” they said. “God has come to help his people.” (Luke 7:16 NIV).

Prayer of Approach

You want people to know of your reality, O God. You make every effort to unveil your divine presence overshadowing life in the world. Surely you are the God who wants to be found by us. Open our eyes, then, to behold your glory. Cause our ears to hear of your wonderful deeds. From our lip...

He could do no miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them (Mark 6:5 NIV).

Prayer of Approach

Your presence, O God, is what I need above all else. You are the strength of the Christian soul. You renew the outlook that must be obtained in order to bring to pass all that you intend to accomplish in the lives of your people. Cause me to be open to your will for me that I may not lose the blessing that you intend to...

Receive The Vision

Scriptural Ground

God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect (Hebrews 11:40 NIV).

Prayer of Approach

In your planning, O God, you do not forget those whom you intend to bless. It is your will to preserve the way of righteousness for the faithful to walk in it. About the Lord

The Bible teaches that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 NIV). It is also written that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 NIV). Do you know that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16 NIV)? It is also written: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 NIV). Jesus said: "I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in" (Revelation 3:20 NIV). Dear friend, what is happening in your life? Are you experiencing the effects of sin, the evidence of death? Jesus died on the cross, bearing your sins so that you would not perish in death. Do hear His invitation to open your being and your life to Him that you may not continue to perish. Say this prayer that you may receive God's gift of eternal life right now: Lord Jesus, there is the presence of sin and the evidence of death in my life. Thank you for bearing my sins on the Cross. I need the gift of eternal life. In your Name, Lord Jesus, I do now open every door of my being and of my life to you. Come in and let me experience all that eternal life is meant to be for me. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Amen.
